General Climate
Costa Rica’s climate is pleasant year round, with the warmest temperatures
in the coastal regions. The mountainous regions of Costa Rica enjoy milder temperatures, especially during the
day. The average annual temperature ranges from 31.7 degrees C (89.06 F) in the coastal regions to 16.7 degrees
C (62.06 F) in the interior. The rainy (or "green") season begins in May and ends in November - the rest
of the year sees very little rain.
