Entry Requirements

Visas are not required for United States, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau citizens.

All other visitors currently must pay $25 for a 3 month tourist visa and $50.00 for a business visa.

The visas are issued upon arrival.

All visitors must hold a valid passport.

For stays up to 30 days (extendible for up to 90 days from date of entry), all visitors must possess sufficient funds for stay and possess an onward air or sea ticket or sufficient funds for such ticket.

A departure fee of $15 U.S. (those over age 60 exempt) is required.

Vaccines
Cholera immunizations are required for those arriving from infected areas.

HIV testing is required for temporary visitors staying more than 30 days and applicants for residence and work permits. Foreign test results are accepted under certain conditions.

Depending on your itinerary, your personal risk factors, and the length of your visit, your health care provider may offer you vaccination against hepatitis A, typhoid, or hepatitis B. Routine immunizations, such as those that prevent tetanus/diphtheria or "childhood" diseases, should be reviewed and updated as needed.

Malaria does not present risk.

Customs
Travelers over the age of 18 may bring in duty free:
2-1/2 cartons of cigarettes
2 liters of liquor
8 ounces of chewing tobacco
Customs declarations forms are required upon arrival.

Importing firearms, ammunition and drugs are strictly prohibited.

Certification from the Quarantine Division for birds, plants and fruits is required.

Coral and turtle shell are prohibited exports.
